Starting from this idea, the people from The Balvenie, created the range The Balvenie Stories, wanting it to talk about the story of their community and to strengthen once again their vision, that of putting people at the center of their universe when produce whiskey. The "The Balvenie Stories" range aims to create a halo impact and highlight the artisanal work, the manual work behind each refined bottle of whiskey. Ian Millar (the distillery manager) eager to experiment with The Balvenie's unique profile, ordered a batch of Speyside peat. For a week a year, he distilled this batch which resulted in a whisky rich in honey, vanilla and citrus with delicate notes of smoke, The Balvenie 14YO Week of Peat.
Smell: soft notes of sweet peat smoke, floral notes and caramel honey
Taste: Velvety and round with peat smoke that balances the aromas of citrus, vanilla and honey
Finish: The finish is one of soft smoke, persistent and creamy vanilla jam
